Microwaved Popcorn Linked to Lung Disease?

Apparently, the chemical "diacetyl", a chemical additive used for butter flavoring in microwave popcorn may be linked to lung disease, by inhaling the vapors. Both Orville Redenbacher's and Act II brands are removing this chemical by the end of the year from it's products. The decision was based on the fact that some workers exposed to large quantities of this chemical at some microwaved popcorn plants had developed lung disease.
